Dr. Hector Roldan
MD, FRCSC, FACS · General Surgeon · Physician-Led Aesthetic Medicine
A surgical career shaped across two countries—and grounded in one enduring commitment to clear, thoughtful patient care.
Born in Guatemala City and raised in Escuintla near the Pacific coast, Dr. Roldan followed his father's path into general surgery. He completed his medical degree in Guatemala in 1988 and came to Canada the following year to pursue advanced training.
After completing the required Canadian licensing examinations, he trained at Queen's University in Kingston and earned Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Today, he provides general surgical care through Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital. His work also includes physician-led aesthetic medicine, supported by the same anatomy-informed planning and measured communication.
